Poppy managed to score 3 bagels off the counter today while I was baking. While she’s in her carb coma, I’ve got a quick note for you.
We’re three weeks out from the June primary, ballots are already in mailboxes, and my opponents are spending millions trying to drown us out on the airwaves.
I’m up against a billionaire, a Big Oil-backed candidate, and MAGA Republicans who think if they spend enough money, they can buy their way onto November’s ballot.
I got into this race because Californians are getting crushed by costs. Housing is too expensive. Health care is too expensive. Child care is too expensive. College is too expensive.
I’m running to actually lower costs for working people.
And here’s what’s at stake: there’s a real chance TWO MAGA Republicans advance to November and Democrats get locked out of the general election entirely.
I don’t take corporate PAC money, and I’m not bankrolling my own campaign. I’m powered by people giving what they can because they want a governor who will fight for them—not for Big Oil, not for corporate lobbyists, and not for billionaires.
If you’re able, I’d be honored if you chipped in $5 today so we can reach voters while ballots are being cast, cut through the noise, and earn a spot on November’s ballot.
