Nevada races are always close, but this one was down to the wire. Republicans spent over $70 million to defeat me, the most EVER on a Nevada Senate race. It took five incredibly nerve-wracking days to count the votes and call the race, and then, I won by just over 8,000 votes. Put another way, that's less than one percentage point. |
That’s why I need grassroots supporters like you on my team – because I know from deeply personal experience that having the resources to air ads and reach voters in the final days of a battleground race can actually determine who wins and loses and what party controls the Senate for the next two years. |
