There’s a lot of candidates in this race with talking points about affordability.
But Californians don’t need another politician handing out bumper-sticker promises. They need someone willing to break out the whiteboard and show the math.
I’m running for governor because working families are getting crushed while giant corporations and wealthy special interests keep stacking the system in their favor.
Rent is too high. Child care is too expensive. Student debt follows people for decades. And meanwhile, the biggest corporations are finding loopholes to avoid paying what they owe.
Unlike my opponents, I have a real plan.
My plan starts with making the biggest, most profitable corporations finally pay their fair share so we can actually lower costs for working people. That means tuition-free public college, lower costs for families, and eliminating state income taxes for Californians making under $100,000 a year.
That’s how you make California affordable again—with real plans that pencil out.
And here’s another difference in this race: I’m not taking corporate PAC money. I’m not funded by Big Oil executives and I’m not writing my own campaign million dollar checks.
This campaign is powered by grassroots supporters chipping in what they can because they’re tired of watching politicians protect a system that works great for corporations and leaves everyone else behind.
The primary is nine days away, and I need your help to make sure our message reaches all undecided voters across the state before they cast their ballots.
Thank you,
Katie
