The final stretch before the primary is here, and the difference in this race couldn’t be more obvious.
Katie isn’t taking corporate PAC money. She isn’t cashing checks from Big Oil. And she isn’t spending hundreds of millions of dollars of personal wealth trying to buy the Governor’s office.
Her opponents? That’s a different story.
She’s up against two MAGA Republicans who want to drag California backward.
Tom Steyer has already dumped $197 million of his own fortune into this race.
And Xavier Becerra took a maximum contribution from Big Oil, has sided with corporate interests, and now has walked away from his promise of single-payer health care.
That’s the whole problem with politics right now: too many politicians are owned by the people funding them.
Katie is different. She’s accountable to the working Californians who are getting crushed by rent, groceries, health care costs, and utility bills—not the corporations making record profits off of them.
With June 2 almost here, this is the moment that will decide this race. Our opponents are flooding the airwaves trying to drown out Katie’s message.
The only way we fight back is by reaching voters directly through organizing, town halls, and the grassroots outreach that has powered this campaign from day one.
Thank you,
Team Katie Porter
