Donald Trump is acting like a dictator

Donald Trump is manufacturing a crisis here in California.
First, ICE agents indiscriminately grabbed people and detained them in basements for days without food and water.
ICE agents and other federal authorities must follow the law. They should not be denying people due process and access to counsel, but that's what we are seeing not just in California, but around the country. This isn't a matter of right or left, denying people of their rights violates the Constitution.
When people came out to protest these unlawful detentions and cruel treatment, Trump went after peaceful protestors, escalating the conflict and seizing a state's National Guard for the first time since the 1960s. His goal is to sow division, unrest and violence. Federal agents even arrested David Huerta—the leader of the Service Employees International Union in California, while David was peacefully protesting.
Californians and all Americans no matter their politics have a right to protest. For those of you who are, stay peaceful: do not give Trump the chaos he wants.
Now Trump is threatening to arrest Governor Newsom. He's even calling in more and more military personnel.
Trump is acting like a dictator; trying to create conditions that will allow him to take more control.
Speak out. Show up. And do so peacefully. The future of our country and our democracy depends on all of us.
