What a bunch of BS. Trump's Administration just revoked a Biden era requirement that hospitals, even in states where abortion is banned, provide emergency abortion care to women whose health and lives were in danger.
In practice, revoking this rule creates a bunch of unanswered questions for doctors and hospitals in red states where abortion is banned or restricted. Experts say that confusion leads to serious risk for patients.
Let's not sugarcoat it: American women are going to die because of this change. I'm sick of men like Donald Trump interfering in women's most personal healthcare decisions, and literally killing people with these bans.
California's next governor needs to be ready to go toe to toe with Trump to make sure abortion is safe, legal, and accessible in California. You can count on me to always stand up to politicians who try to take away our rights.
