In Congress, I was known for asking tough questions, but as a professor, I also have to have the answers. Here are some of the quick, no BS reasons why I'm asking for you to make a donation of $5, or whatever makes sense for you, ahead of our June 30th deadline.
What happens after June 30th?
We publicly report how much money we've raised since the start of our campaign.
Who cares about those numbers?
The strength of our fundraising is seen as a sign of our campaign's promise. If our opponents, and the outside groups that plan to back them, see our momentum waning—it could inspire them to spend even more heavily against us.
Why does my $5 or $50 matter?
I don't take any money from corporations, lobbyists, or Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Bank CEOs. Our campaign relies on grassroots supporters like you.
Nobody gets elected alone. I'd be so grateful to have your support ahead of our major fundraising reporting deadline.
