I know your inbox is full – but this one matters
Asking one last time
We'll keep this super short.
We have a fundraising deadline tonight at midnight, at which point we have to release our fundraising numbers to the public.
Everyone from our opponents to political pundits will be poring through our report to assess the strength of our campaign.
Our team has set a goal of raising $100,000, which is going to help us post a strong fundraising number and keep up the momentum we need to win.

The power of these emails
If you told me a few years ago that I'd be emailing people about a mid-year fundraising deadline, I would've looked at you like you were nuts.
I was a single mom and consumer advocate, and I never dreamed of running for office, let alone reaching out to grassroots supporters across the country.
That's the power of emails like this one. They allowed me to flip a House seat from red to blue as a first time candidate, and they're powering my campaign for California Governor now.
Today is one of the most important days in our campaign so far. At midnight, we have our first fundraising reporting deadline of this election cycle, which means we'll have to tell everyone exactly how much money we've raised. People will be looking to this report to judge the strength or weakness of this campaign.
And because I reject money from corporations, lobbyists, and executives at Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banks, I rely on emails like this to raise the resources I need to win and fight for families in office.
