We’re just three days away from our final fundraising deadline before the primary, and we’re falling behind on our $250,000 goal.
On May 16, our numbers go public. Reporters will dig through them. Political insiders will spin them. Our opponents and their billionaire backers will use them to decide how hard to come after us next.
We want to send a different message: our campaign is powered by people who are tired of politics working for corporations and not for Californians.
Because that’s exactly what this campaign is about.
Katie isn’t taking corporate PAC money. She’s not cutting backroom deals with Big Oil executives or wealthy insiders. She’s building a grassroots movement the hard way—with people chipping in what they can because they believe California deserves a governor who will actually fight for working families.
Together, we’ve reached voters all across California through town halls, organizing, ads, and real conversations in communities that politicians too often ignore.
But with the primary almost here, we need to reach even more voters before ballots are cast.
In California, only the top two candidates in the primary move on to November’s election. This filing deadline is a real test of whether our campaign has the momentum to break through the noise, compete with the flood of corporate money in this race, and secure a spot on November’s ballot.
We’ve got three days to put up the biggest number possible and close the gap on our $250,000 goal.
Thank you,
Team Katie Porter
