Workers before billionaires

I want to tell you what this race is really about.

It's not just about flipping Ohio. It's not just about taking back the Senate. And it's certainly not about Democrats versus Republicans.

This race is about whether Washington puts workers before billionaires.

That's the heart of it.

I’ve always believed that the people who punch a clock, work the factory floors and farms, drive the trucks, care for patients, teach our kids – these folks deserve a voice in Washington.

They shouldn’t be pushed aside – they're the people who make this country work.

But that’s not how my opponent, Jon Husted, operates. Look at data centers: he recruited them to Ohio, cut them sweetheart tax deals, and when families saw the cost land on their electric bills, he told them the problem was that they use the internet.

When working people and powerful corporate interests end up on opposite sides, Husted picks the corporate interests. Every time.

I'm running to give working people a voice in the Senate. But powerful special interest groups are spending a record-setting amount to attack me and stop our momentum.
