Counting on you, not tech billionaires

Hi, with our campaign's August end-of-month deadline tomorrow at midnight, I wanted to reach out with a personal note:

Our latest records show you haven’t donated yet. I appreciate how engaged you’ve been by opening emails like this one, but with less than 70 days left before Election Day, now is the most important time you can contribute.

Analysts like Nate Silver and The Cook Political Report have shifted this race to a "Toss Up," and the Republican establishment is pouring more than $130 million into supporting my corrupt opponent, Jon Husted. And this past Friday, billionaire Peter Thiel started running $3.6 million in ads against me.

Unfortunately, the GOP attacks are working: A recent poll shows we’re trailing Husted by 3 points. The hard truth is, right now my team and I are short of the resources we need to fight our way back.
