When Sherrod decided to run for Senate, he made a decision to build this campaign the right way: powered by grassroots support.

We’re proud that folks from all 88 Ohio counties, and working people across the country, have chipped in. These aren’t ultra wealthy political insiders – they’re teachers, farmers, truck drivers, retirees, nurses, parents, and people like you who care deeply about the future of this country.

But running a campaign this way also means we depend on grassroots supporters more than campaigns that are bankrolled by corporate interests. In fact, the bulk of our fundraising comes from folks chipping in to emails exactly like this one.
