Time-sensitive update

Hey team, I have a time-sensitive update to share:

Our new ads are at risk of going dark this weekend because we don’t have the money in the budget right now to keep them going. I authorized these ads so we could fight back against the relentless attacks from the GOP – and we just can’t take our foot off the gas.

Here’s the thing: my opponent just aired a fresh attack ad against me, so we needed to air our own in response. Senate control is on the line, so this wasn’t a time to play it safe.

Running ads – and keeping them up – costs an arm and a leg. But if we fail to respond to the GOP’s attacks, it could cost us this entire election and put us at risk of losing the Senate.

So today, I’m asking you to chip in $5 to help keep our crucial ads on the air. We need to raise another $250,000 before midnight – or else we’ll have to pull them down. Please, will you donate?
