Jeanne, |
Growing up in Allagash and spending years working 80-hour weeks in the woods to make ends meet, I know firsthand what working Mainers need from our government. |
And for 30 years, Susan Collins has failed us. Time and again, she has sold us out to Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda while pretending we’re too dumb to notice. And I’m sick of it. |
My name is Troy Jackson. I’m a proud Mainer, father, and fifth-generation logger. |
This weekend, I officially earned the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. Now it’s time to defeat Susan Collins and her billionaire backers. So I’m asking you to split a donation between my campaign and Catherine Cortez Masto to become a Founding Donor to my campaign right now and help us win the most important Senate race in the country. |

Jeanne, let me tell you a bit about what this race means to me. |
When I was growing up, I was a poor kid in a town full of poor kids. My family relied on food assistance at times. I distinctly remember when I was 13 years old, we didn’t have heat or running water, and I heard my mother quietly crying to herself, wishing she could do more for us. |
After high school, I became a logger like my dad, and his dad, and his dad before him. When a greedy landowner tried to screw my fellow loggers and me out of fair wages, I fought back. A whole bunch of politicians, including then-first-term Senator Susan Collins, promised to listen, but they left us high and dry — and I realized that nothing would change unless there were working-class voices in power. |
So I ran for the Maine legislature, where I served 20 years, including six years as the President of the Maine Senate. It’s been the honor of my life to fight for working people. |
I drove hours each way between the North Woods and the State Capitol, because that's what the job required. I won those elections in a district that went for Trump by 20 points, because up here, people care less about a label and more about whether you give a damn about their family. |
Jeanne, I’m building this campaign the right way. With grassroots support from folks like you. I’m not running to impress the billionaires or the corporate class. I’m running for the mom who’s worried about how she’ll fill her gas tank this week. I’m running for the kid whose whole life will be determined by the quality of his education. I’m running to ensure every working family in Maine has the government they deserve. |
If you believe in this fight and our movement, I’m humbly asking you to split a donation between my campaign and Catherine Cortez Masto today to help us reach our fundraising goal and take on the GOP’s millions. Even $5 makes a difference >> |
