Forgive me?

Hi – I know you’ve heard a lot from my team and me over the past few days, so please forgive me. Sending this email to you this early in the morning is the last thing I want to do, but I have to.

We’re falling short of our end-of-month goal, so I need you to chip in your first donation right now to help us get back on track. Today is the last day to have your donation 2X-matched, so please, don’t delay.

You might not know this, but this year, our campaign went up on TV with ads earlier than ever before. We also started our field program and began knocking on doors earlier than ever before. In a race this important, with the stakes so high, we aren’t letting a moment go to waste.

This will turn the tides against us, unless we can raise more money and reach more people – quickly.
