Right now, we’re in the middle of the “summer slowdown”—that period in July and August when political fundraising traditionally stalls.
I get it. People are outside enjoying the weather, and families like mine are busy before kids go back to school in a few weeks.
But threats to our democracy don’t take a summer vacation.
This administration is still working to rip away our fundamental freedoms, and corporate PACs are still spending huge amounts every day to buy our elections. The struggles working families face won’t wait for a slowdown to end, so neither can we.
If we’re going to elect candidates who will bring down prices this fall, we have to make sure our fundraising keeps pace. I’m relying on supporters like you to step up and make sure we have the resources to keep fighting.
