A new chapter

I wanted to share some updates with you on my future and what I’ve been up to.

First, it was the honor of a lifetime to represent California in Congress and to earn the support of so many of you in my campaigns for Senate and Governor. I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together.

Now comes the exciting part: what’s next.

One thing that’s always been a constant from when I was a little kid to now is a love of reading. During the pandemic, I started a book club in Irvine that is still going strong years later. Now, I want to share my passion for books with you. That’s why I’m launching @KatiePorterTurnsThePage on Instagram!

I’m excited to share my favorite books with you, but that doesn’t mean I’m done with public service. My mission has always been to make life affordable for working families, and that’s not changing.

I will continue to engage in policy debates, help people learn how government works, and lift up candidates who will fight for everyday Americans.

That’s why I’m continuing Truth to Power PAC, my organization dedicated to supporting candidates who will lower costs, hold the powerful accountable, and get corporate money out of politics.
