Help us cheer on Paralympic athlete Mohamed Lahna as he attempts something no one has done before.

Friend, meet Mohamed Lahna, a Paralympic athlete who’s about to complete something that no one’s ever done before:   Swimming 28 miles around Manhattan Biking 3,000 miles across 16 states Running 350 miles between Las Vegas and Los Angeles (in the middle of summer!) Mohamed is on an extreme triathlon across America — a feat that will test the limits of endurance, determination and grit — but he’s not doing it for the record books. He’s taking on this challenge to raise $250,000 for Save the Children and the Challenged Athletes Foundation — and we’re rallying behind him. Will you write a few words of encouragement to celebrate his achievement? Your message will be included in a card that will be hand-delivered to Mohamed at the finish line!   As a child, Mohamed attended a Save the Children school in Casablanca, Morocco. He recalls the school serving as a safe place for him and his classmates to grow, learn and have fun. Now, he wants to pay it forward. “Someone donated to Save the Children in the 1980s, and that donation helped fund the elementary school that I went to,” Mohamed said. “I can see the impact of that one donation someone gave so many years ago. It has made me realize the ripple effect of doing good. Having lived a comfortable, privileged life, I hope that I can now use my voice and skills to advocate for others to gain opportunities in their own lives.” He’s taking on his biggest challenge yet. For Mohamed, this journey isn’t about crossing the finish line. It’s about showing children facing enormous obstacles that they’re stronger than the challenges in front of them.  Your message will show Mohamed that thousands of people are supporting his journey and are inspired by the life-changing difference he’s making for kids.
