FIRST: Trump nominated Casey Means – an unlicensed doctor, MAHA social media influencer, and close RFK Jr. ally – for U.S. Surgeon General, America's top doctor.
So THEN: In her Senate Committee hearing, I grilled her for misleading claims she made on the safety of birth control, vaccines for infants, and antidepressants for pregnant women. Seriously, some of the stuff she has said is unfathomable – like claiming American women "pop birth control like candy," and contraception is a "disrespect of human life."
Needless to say, she FAILED to say she would follow the decades of research supporting birth control rather than pushing her own junk science.
But NOW:Since Republicans hold the majority on the committee – and in the Senate – they could hand her the job she is wholly unqualified for – putting Americans' health at risk.So I need your help, will you join me in saying NO to Means' nomination?
