I’m taking the debate stage again tonight, and I want to be clear about what I’m showing up to fight for: lowering costs for working families and Californians.
That includes single-payer health care, free child care, tuition-free public college, less expensive housing. And this is just the baseline.
Because right now, Californians are getting crushed—rent, groceries, child care, health care—everything going up, and too many politicians are okay with the status quo.
Last debate, I called it like I saw it: when a self-funded billionaire is in the race, when Big Oil money is backing candidates, when Republicans are bringing Trump’s agenda to California, working people don’t come first.
Tonight, I’m ready to show voters again exactly who I’m fighting for—and who I’m fighting against. And I’m ready to keep holding my opponents accountable and fighting for the same values I always have on stage.
A lot of people will be tuning in, but we need to make sure that my message reaches even more Californians after I step off stage and while people are still paying attention.
That means having the resources to meet voters wherever they are, and I need grassroots supporters to step up now to ensure we have them.
Thank you,
Katie
