Young children today are fleeing their second or third conflict as tensions rise in the Middle East. “When the war returned, we became very scared. We were displaced so that a missile would not fall on us,” said 8-year-old Tamer*. No child should have to endure such danger and fear. It’s why our teams, already located in Lebanon, quickly responded to deliver emergency relief to children and families while also setting up safe spaces for kids to play and learn. Save the Children has 9 active responses across the region. Our teams are distributing essential items, such as blankets, mattresses, pillows, baby supplies, water and mental health support. |
