Just like Poppy needs regular lessons to keep her on track to reach her goals, this campaign relies on regular milestones to do the work we need to do to win in 2026.
For May, my team and I have set a goal of raising $100,000 over email. We've done it before, and I know we can do it again. Can you chip in today to help us get there?
The truth is that political campaigns are expensive. If we fall short now, we'll either have to make up lost ground throughout the campaign, or we'll have to scale back the amount of voter contact we're able to do.
That's not the kind of campaign I want to run, and that's not the kind of representative I want to be for the people of California.
And just as I've proudly watched Poppy improve her agility week after week, I'm grateful for the grassroots donations of Porter Supporters every month pushing us closer and closer to our goal.
If you can, I would so appreciate a contribution of $5 before our May deadline, so I can keep running to bring down costs for families and defend California from extremists' attacks.
