We hit our April fundraising goal, and we aren't slowing down.
As a professor, I teach my students that the only way to finish a big project like a research paper is to hit smaller milestones along the way.
Political campaigns are no different. Under our current system, we need to raise millions to dollars to win. To get there, my team and I set monthly goals to keep us on track.
In April, we set a target of raising $75,000 over email. I'm delighted to tell you that thanks to the donations of Porter Supporters like you, we were able to hit our goal!
I don't take these contributions for granted. I manage the budget for my family, so I know what it means for everyday folks to chip in. Because I reject money from corporations, lobbyists, and executives at Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banks, I literally could not do this without you.

In this moment, Californians need strong leadership, and I'm eager to continue listening to their stories and amplifying their voices.
