Every few months, I like to call some Porter Supporters to say thanks. That's because my campaign is truly grassroots funded, without contributions from corporations or lobbyists. I can't do this without you.
Recently, we sent an email telling you that some of you would get a call if you chipped in. While I wish I could call all of you… here's how a few of the calls went!
I love these calls because I get to hear directly from voters about the issues on their minds. The job of an elected official is to represent people, and you can't do that if you aren't listening to them.
