Jeanne's Cookies: what happened on Facebook last weekend

Hi, I had to share this update right away:

Everything was riding on us meeting our final end-of-quarter goal ahead of last night's FEC deadline – the last one before Election Day – but we fell short.

Even though we had our biggest fundraising day since Sherrod launched his campaign, the glitch with our Facebook ads over the weekend means we came up just shy anyway.

The fundraising report we have to file won’t be as strong as we’d hoped. But even worse, it means that we might need to make some tough budget cuts in this final stretch.

With cryptocurrency groups and tech billionaires spending millions to defeat us and Trump coming to Ohio this weekend to rally with Jon Husted, this shortfall couldn’t come at a worse time – especially given that a recent poll shows this race is absolutely deadlocked.

We simply cannot pull back this close to Election Day – but we’re not going to have a choice unless folks like you help us close our $50,000 budget gap ASAP.
