Hi, I didn’t decide to run for U.S. Senate because it’d be easy. After all, I lost my last race, and the GOP had spent a record amount attacking me.

Now we’re really being put to the test: President Trump has come to Ohio three times. This is once again one of the most expensive races in the country, and polls show it’s neck and neck.

Plus: At the eleventh hour, the top GOP super PAC in charge of holding the Senate majority announced the launch of another seven-figure ad buy full of lies statewide.

That’s because Senate control hinges on this battleground race – and with just four days left to go, National Republicans and their corporate special interest backers are terrified.

I thought I was finished with elected office after 2024. But then I watched what Jon Husted was doing with his time in the Senate. Everything we fought for, from workers’ rights to health care, got pushed aside for tax breaks for the wealthy and data centers driving up costs.

I knew I could help. I knew I could make a difference for working Ohioans. So I came off the sidelines. I’m so glad I did. And I’m even more glad you’re with me.

But here’s the truth: With four days left, we’re facing an uphill battle again. We’re being outspent, and we run the risk of losing it all in this final push. If we don’t close the gap on our final fundraising goal, our get-out-the-vote program could take a serious hit.
