Friend, you might not know this about me, but I love to garden. |
Even during a campaign as busy as this one, most of my mornings start the same way – before I’m on the road, headed to roundtables and meet-and-greets, I check on my garden. |
I just got back inside after checking on my plants, and wanted to send you a note before the busy starts. |
This year, I’ve got a whole bunch of vegetables going: green peppers and red peppers, green beans and wax beans – onions too – but I’m especially proud of my tomatoes this time around. I’ve lost a good few to one particularly mischievous (and hungry) groundhog, and a handful more to my dog Franklin who likes to sneak out and grab the cherry tomatoes when I’m not looking… |
 |
Gardening has taught me important lessons that I carry with me every day on the trail: Worthwhile things take steady, sometimes unglamorous work, and you can’t rush what’s growing. Showing up consistently is what actually gets results. |
Those values drive this campaign, and they’re what I’ll bring to office when I’m fighting for Ohioans in the Senate. |
So today, whether you’ve got a garden in bloom or a succulent on your windowsill, will you invest $5 today to help our movement grow and win on Election Day? |

Hey there! It's Sherrod Brown.
There's nobody fighting for Ohioans in the U.S. Senate right now, and I won't sit on the sidelines while working people get screwed over by large corporations and wealthy political donors.
If you work hard, you should be able to afford a decent life. But the reality is, life is too expensive. Costs are going up. Wages are staying stagnant. Working people are working harder than ever before, and they're not getting their share of the profit.
This campaign is all about changing that – and election analysts say we have a strong shot at winning in November.
But I'll need your help to pull it off: My opponent is a Washington insider being propped up by the Republican establishment, and he's got virtually unlimited resources.
That's not how our campaign works. We're a grassroots movement, and that means we rely on ordinary people chipping in a couple bucks. If you're able, please make a donation of any amount today. It could be what helps us flip Ohio and the Senate.
If you'd like to receive exclusive updates from my team, you can text "OHIO" to 64054.
Thank you.
