It’s official: I’m the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Ohio.

Ohio deserves better and Ohioans are showing up and insisting on change. Every person who gets involved in this movement brings us one step closer to flipping this seat and retaking Senate control.

But we also know this battleground race is about to get harder.

A new poll shows me down by 3 points. National Republicans are pouring $133 million into Ohio to defeat us – more than they’re spending in any other battleground state. And Jon Husted’s super PAC just launched a seven-figure ad buy attacking me.

They know Ohio is in play. They know we can win. And they know that if we do, we can flip the Senate.

The Cook Political Report now calls this race a “Toss Up.” That matters. So does the grassroots energy we’ve built together.
