I'm taking a quick break from call time (with my dog Poppy curled up by my side) to give you a quick campaign update.
I have to spend more time than I'd like on the phone fundraising, because it's very expensive to run a statewide campaign in California. We have to reach voters in every corner of the state with some of the most expensive media markets in the country.
As much as I enjoy time with Poppy, I'd rather be on the campaign trail meeting with voters and hearing their stories. That's why I'm looking to supporters like you, to give us the boost we need.
