Yá'át'ééh (Hello) friends,

Thanks to your incredible grassroots support, I woke up the day after the election to votes still being counted! If we prevail I will make history as the first Native American ever elected to Congress from Arizona.

With this race being neck-and-neck, winning could be determined by “cured” ballots — ballots that have some error or mistake and must be corrected to count. We spent our resources to get this lead, and now I need your help to make sure we can keep it.

With this race coming down to these last votes, we are launching an emergency recount fund to make sure we are ready for whatever comes next. Will you split a contribution between Truth to Power and our campaign so they have the funds to make sure every vote is counted?

In this David versus Goliath fight, every vote counts.

When we first launched this campaign, we weren’t supposed to be competitive. And now, in a deep red seat that Trump won by 15 points, an Indigenous sheepherder from the Navajo Nation is standing on the verge of defeating one of Trump’s favorite members of Congress.

That’s why we need to finish strong and make sure we have the resources to fight back against any Republican attempts to sway this count.

In this final push, can I count on you to split a donation between Truth to Power and my emergency recount fund?

Thank you for stepping up in this important moment.

Jonathan
