Friends, I am beyond proud of Tuesday’s historic blue wave and the stunning rebuke Americans across the country delivered to President Trump and his allies. I hope you are too, because this effort took every single one of us. Because of all our hard work, we’ve won decisive Democratic House and Senate majorities that will fight to rein in Trump’s agenda and make meaningful progress for working families. But we’re not done yet. The Senate races in Alaska and Mississippi are still too close to call, and our fellow Democrats in these states – Mary Peltola in Alaska and Scott Colom in Mississippi – need our help to ensure every single vote is counted. I truly believe that when the final votes are tallied, we are going to win both these races and secure a 56-seat Democratic Senate majority. I look forward to welcoming Mary and Scott to the Senate and working with each of them to make meaningful change for our states and the country. But I’m asking for your help today because I’ve been here before, and I know from experience how much our support will make a difference in this moment. My last race in 2022 took five days to call. Those were some of the longest days of my life. My campaign had spent every dollar we had to get to election night – and suddenly we needed more resources to make sure every eligible vote was counted, prepare for a potential recount and fight any attempt to interfere with counting or certification of the election.
