You might not know this, but some of our supporters donate by mailing checks directly to our campaign office. Sometimes they even include a personal letter!

I wanted to share a few passages from letters we've recently received that really stuck with me:

"May you bring facts + reason back to politics"

"Keep fighting. We are behind you. Thank you for standing up for what is right"

Reading these notes is always a highlight of my day. They ground me in this work and remind me why I'm running for governor: everyday Californians are struggling to get by and need someone to fight for them.

Politics can be especially nasty. We've already had attack ads against us this cycle, and more will come. But these letters make it clear we're building a people-powered movement that can take on anything that comes our way.
