Creating child-friendly spaces for Sudanese refugees affected by conflict

For over two years, violence has threatened children’s lives in Sudan. It forced 16-year-old Ali* to flee his home, and he now lives in a refugee camp in Uganda. Save the Children's child-friendly spaces in the camp provide Ali with safety and comfort so he can play soccer and continue his education.

Helping children overcome malnutrition in Gaza

Babies and children in Gaza are fighting severe malnutrition due to the war. At just 6 months old, Alma* became malnourished, but our nutrition team helped her recover. Months later, after famine began spreading and economic conditions worsened, she began losing weight again. Thankfully, a Save the Children clinic quickly diagnosed Alma and started treatment with therapeutic food.

Responding to the earthquake in Myanmar

In March, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, destroying homes and key infrastructure. Fear of aftershocks forced families to live in makeshift tents, including a young mother of a 4-year-old and her ten family members. Save the Children provided safe shelter – and supporters like you made it possible.
