One big, ugly betrayal of working Americans

Friend – this is just sick.

Republicans in the Senate have passed the single largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in the history of our country.

The sad truth is that they've opted to sell out the people who elected them, all to find room in the budget for Trump's top priority: handing out TRILLIONS in tax cuts to billionaires like himself.

All the while, basic math shows this bill will still send the deficit skyrocketing by trillions more – so much for "rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse."

But Republicans just don't care. Whatever Donald Trump wants comes first.

So before I tell you just how bad it is, I want you to know that I do care – and if you do too, friend, the best way to help me fight back against the full extent of harm they have in store for us is by building a surge of grassroots momentum to show that folks are fired up to fire them.

Bottom line: The budget bill will deliver the largest-ever cuts to Medicaid and food assistance to fund Trump's pro-billionaire Project 2025 agenda.

By sabotaging the ACA, barring Medicaid defunding Planned Parenthood clinics, and blocking access in webs of red tape, 17 million people are projected to LOSE health insurance: Meaning everyone's health premiums will rise, rural hospitals and clinics will close, nursing homes will kick seniors out, and preventable deaths will go up.

And as already-sky-high prices and the threat of Trump's tariffs force families to make sacrifices at the grocery store, my GOP colleagues are content to let millions of people in America, including children and veterans, go hungry.

Look – when my dad got sick with MS and lost his job, we didn't have an income for the few months it took my mom to focus on skills training before she could find work. Food stamps helped put food on the table for me and my six siblings until she did.

That's why I cannot – I will not – stand by as they cut off lifelines for families struggling to make ends meet, to then cut a check to the richest people on Earth.

Friend, a surge of grassroots support to hit our $30,000 rapid-response goal would be cold, hard proof that we're FED UP with the GOP selling us out to stroke Trump's ego and line his pockets.
