Last month, we flagged for you the harmful plan by some Republicans to sell off millions of acres of our public lands—including pristine areas near Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.
The good news is that we were able to stop this giveaway from passing the Senate. The bad news is that this wasn't Republicans' first attempt to sell off our public lands—and it likely won't be the last.
We can't let up the pressure. We need to make clear that public lands belong to all of us as Americans, and we won't stand for any effort to line polluters' pockets.
