JD Vance in Ohio and the Hamptons

It’s honestly hard to fathom just how much money is pouring into our Senate race here in Ohio. The GOP is currently spending over $162 million against me – thanks to recent infusions from a Trump-aligned super PAC, right-wing billionaire Peter Thiel, and dark-money groups.

One thing that especially worries me – that not enough people are talking about – is JD Vance’s role in all of this.

Let’s not forget: I’m running against Jon Husted, the guy who was handpicked by the Republican establishment to fill Vance’s Senate seat when he was chosen as Trump’s vice president. Husted had Trump and Vance’s blessing then, and he still has it now. They’re doing whatever it takes to keep this critical Senate seat in their hands.

In fact, right after JD Vance was in Ohio a couple weeks ago to rile up the GOP base and personally attack me, he flew out to the Hamptons in New York to host an exclusive fundraiser. He ended up raising $5 million that night from billionaires and corporate execs, and every cent of that haul will be put toward defeating candidates like me.

While my opponent has Trump, Vance, and their megadonors, I have people like you.

And right now, I need your help more than ever.
