Need to change things up today.

I want to be very transparent with you.

I am National Republicans' top target. They're coming after me with everything they’ve got.

Over the past few weeks, billionaire donors like Elon Musk, tech scion Peter Thiel, and dark-money groups have dumped millions into Ohio to crush our momentum – because if we lose here, we’ll lose our shot at taking back the Senate and breaking Republicans’ grip on power.

Total GOP spending in this race has now reached over $162 million.

I know I ask a lot of this team, but I hope you know I wouldn’t be reaching out if it weren’t so important. And right now, it is: We just missed our mid-month fundraising goal, and we have less than two weeks until the final quarterly FEC deadline of this election – when we’ll have to report our fundraising numbers for everyone to see.

This is our wake up call to step it up.

The only way we can get back on track is with a massive surge of grassroots support from folks like you, so I need to try something different today. I’m lowering my ask to just $1 in the hopes that every person reading this chips in so we can build back our momentum.
