I'm a minivan driving mom, and I care a lot about making sure my kids have what they need. That means making sure the next generation can afford housing in California.

My biggest frustration with housing has been hearing over and over again, "that's not a government problem."
That's BS.
People treat rising costs like they're inevitable. They're not. Our housing costs and homelessness problem are directly connected to our policy choices.
If young people are not choosing to stay and start a family in California, it's going to be really hard for our future. Californians compare the cost of housing with what they're getting paid, and they know it's not enough.
I am running to make sure all Californians are able to have housing.

That's a different perspective than we've had in the governor's office, and certainly a different perspective than my billionaire opponent.
I'm running to make sure all Californians can afford to live here. If you're with me, will you chip in $5 to our campaign today?
