Last night, we fell short

I won't beat around the bush, friend: Last night, we fell short of our critical end-of-month goal – and the timing couldn't be worse.

Not one but two recent polls show me with a slight lead in this race. The Cook Political Report has increased our chances of winning. Experts at MSNBC say the Senate is in play – and the road to taking the Senate runs through Ohio, friend.

Unless we get back on track fast, all of our momentum could be at risk.
