Before you head off to finish preparing your turkey or baking a pie, I'm asking you to consider making a donation to No Kid Hungry.
No Kid Hungry does important work to help make sure kids of all ages have access to nutritious food. Their work is especially critical right now, when 1 in 5 American kids live in hunger.
On top of that, Republicans are trying to cut funding for school lunches. I've pushed back against their efforts every step of the way, and have introduced legislation to instead expand and strengthen free school meals for kids across the country.
Too many American kids will head back to school next Monday without adequate food, and a gift of $50 can help provide up to 500 meals. Can you make a donation to No Kid Hungry today?
