Earlier this fall, a celebrity Republican named Steve Garvey entered our U.S. Senate race.
Because of California's "jungle primary" system, the top two vote getters in March's primary (regardless of party) will move onto the general election in November. And a recent poll shows Garvey within reach of a top two finish.
