Hey, team, it's Brandon Presley, the Democratic nominee for governor here in Mississippi, with an important update on the state of my race. If you already know just what’s at stake, please chip in $3 or whatever you can right now to be split between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association before our critical end-of-quarter deadline. If not, please read on. |

I was raised by a single mama in a blue-collar family outside of Tupelo. She taught me the value of hard work and as an adult, I have dedicated my life to public service. That's why I became mayor of my hometown: to fight for the families who've been left behind. |
But while I was giving back to my community, my opponent Tate Reeves was building his career by ripping off the families he swore to serve. He's one of the most unpopular governors in the nation, and he's neck-deep in the biggest corruption scandal in our state’s history. Under his watch, bombshell reporting says millions of taxpayer dollars were diverted to his personal trainer and celebrity friends – instead of fixing the Jackson water crisis or keeping the lights on in our struggling hospitals. |
It’s no wonder why Mississippians are absolutely fed up with Reeves. They know he’s just another corrupt politician who will do anything to keep his rich and powerful buddies happy. |
I won’t. I’m running for Governor to fight corruption, not embrace it. To serve working people and families, not special interests. And to lead with strength, courage, and real backbone. And I have some real good news: The latest polls show me and Reeves in a neck-and-neck race. I know this race is winnable, but it’s going to come down to the wire and Reeves and the special interests he’s in bed with are going to throw the whole kitchen sink at us. |
That’s why I’m reaching out to you today: I want to make sure Tate Reeves is a one-term governor, but here in Mississippi, we're at a pivotal moment in our campaign. Dems are facing a MAJOR public filing deadline at midnight tonight and afterward, EVERYONE will see how much we did (or didn’t) raise. The only way we win in states like this is if grassroots donors like you stand up and take action for our values. |
So please, before tonight’s critical end-of-quarter deadline, will you split a donation of $3 between my campaign and the DGA? This is a big opportunity to show the GOP our grassroots strength. I’m counting on you to donate whatever you can spare while donations to the DGA are being triple-matched. |
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split between Brandon Presley and the Democratic Governors Association: |
Thank you so much for having my back and believing in a better future for Mississippi. |
With gratitude, Brandon Presley |
