My emergency petition: protect SNAP

I need to tell you what President Trump is doing.

There is a hunger crisis rapidly growing in our country.

42 million Americans are about to lose their SNAP benefits tomorrow because of Donald Trump and his Republican majority that forced a government shutdown.

To make matters worse, Trump literally just sent $20 billion to bail out Argentina, while letting millions of Americans go hungry. It's outrageous.

This is a nationwide catastrophe for families who rely on SNAP to put food on the table. We must act quickly.

I'm asking you to sign my emergency petition before midnight to send a clear message: It is unacceptable to cut SNAP benefits and let Americans go hungry. Please be one of the 25,000 signatures I need.

SIGN THE PETITION

The Trump administration is playing partisan games with people's lives.

Now, the government shutdown is putting communities at risk of losing the food assistance they depend on to survive.

SNAP is a lifeline for millions of Americans, and the government must do everything in its power to continue providing these life-saving benefits.

The Trump administration has up to $6 billion in reserves to fund SNAP. He cares more about pushing political propaganda than helping feed American families.

I will keep fighting against the Trump administration's attacks on food assistance. But I need your voices to rise up with me against this injustice.

Please join me in this fight against preventable hunger. Sign my emergency petition before midnight and show support for protecting SNAP benefits.

SIGN THE PETITION

Together in the fight,

— Kirsten Gillibrand

Did you see me on MSNBC?

Friend, did you see me on MSNBC with Lawrence O'Donnell last night?

If you want to help me reach even more people with my message, I hope you'll consider chipping in a few bucks to our grassroots campaign.

As I told Lawrence, health care costs are soaring – on top of rising grocery prices, utility bills, rent, and more. This situation is dire for millions of Americans, and D.C. politicians like Jon Husted are doing absolutely nothing to fix it.

Here are the CliffsNotes of our conversation:

These health insurance price hikes aren't just expensive: They're dangerous. Families and seniors will be forced to go without the care they need because they can't afford that jump.

It doesn't have to be this way. The folks who say it's impossible to keep costs down are the same ones who gave billionaires the largest tax break in American history.

While I want to make health care more affordable and accessible for every Ohioan, Jon Husted – my opponent in this Senate race – wants to give insurance company CEOs bigger tax breaks. We're in this fight for very different reasons.

Ohio deserves better than Husted – but I can't defeat him alone.

Will you chip in a donation to help me reach my $150,000 end-of-month goal and fuel our fight for workers, families, and every person who calls Ohio home?

Thank you,

Sherrod

Mikie Sherrill’s race is one of the most important in the country

I've seen up close how Mikie fights for her constituents—we were elected to Congress at the same time—and I know she'll keep up that fight as governor. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

One of the most important elections in the country is happening on Tuesday: Mikie Sherrill's race for governor of New Jersey.

Mikie is running in a very close, high-stakes election that's seen Trump's endorsement of her opponent and huge Republican spending.

Why? Because the GOP sees New Jersey as a key state to flip, and they're going all in to make it happen.

Donald Trump made major inroads in New Jersey in 2024. Now, polling shows this race is neck and neck. We know we can't take any election for granted, so let's give Mikie a last-minute surge of grassroots support.

Can you split a donation between my campaign and NJ Victory 2025 to power voter turnout in New Jersey before polls close?

I've seen up close how Mikie fights for her constituents—we were elected to Congress at the same time—and I know she'll keep up that fight as governor. Let's show Trump that our movement stands strong coast to coast by electing her next Tuesday.

Split a donation between our campaign and NJ Victory 2025 right now to give Mikie the resources she needs to push her campaign over the finish line and win this race.

Thank you,

Katie is running to be California's next governor because California and our country need a leader who will stand up to Trump to lower costs, protect our rights, and combat climate change.

running out of time

Friend,

We're right down to the wire.

With just one day left before our end-of-month fundraising deadline, we're still $62,894 short of our critical $150,000 goal.

We wouldn't ask if it weren't important, but we need to reach this goal to keep our grassroots campaign running strong: Will you chip in $5 to help us flip this seat and win in Ohio?

Here's why it matters:

A new poll shows that Sherrod is 1 point ahead of his opponent, Jon Husted. That's great news – concrete proof that we can win.

But now, corporate special interests and megadonors are going all in to defeat us; misleading attack ads have already started.

If we don't close this budget gap before tomorrow, we risk losing the ability to fight back and keep up the critical momentum we've built.

So we're asking directly, friend: Will you chip in $5 before midnight tomorrow to help us reach our urgent $150,000 end-of-month goal and send Sherrod to the Senate to fight for Ohio's working families?

quick: this has never been more important

This is OUTRAGEOUS:

Donald Trump is seizing control of the National Guard — making it his personal army.
He's ripping health care and SNAP benefits away from tens of millions of hardworking American families.
He's ready to spend hundreds of millions to tighten his grip on the Senate and push his far-right agenda even further.

It's never been more important to put a check on Donald Trump's power. POLITICO reports Democrats can win back the Senate — but only if we flip four seats and re-elect Democrats in every blue stronghold.

Can we count on you to pitch in $5 or more before our final October deadline at midnight to help us fight back and win the Senate? We're behind on meeting our $30,000 goal:

Trump's latest schemes are beyond reckless — they're downright dangerous. He's trying to bend our institutions to his will, reward his loyalists and punish anyone who dares to stand in his way.

While he's building a war chest to cement Republican control, Democrats on the ground are fighting tooth and nail to win key Senate seats.

That's where our work comes in. As DSCC Chair, I'm investing in battleground states, recruiting incredible Democratic candidates and mobilizing voters in every corner of the country. But our work depends on grassroots supporters like you stepping up and chipping in to emails like this.

We've set a $30,000 October goal — and hitting it is absolutely crucial. Every dollar fuels the organizers, ads and rapid response teams working to flip the Senate and hold Trump accountable.

If we fall short, Republicans get the upper hand. But if Democrats like you step up and chip in, we'll have the resources to take back the Senate and restore sanity in Washington. So please, chip in whatever you can before our October deadline at midnight:
