We just learned that one of National Republicans' largest dark money groups is diverting $28 million to Ohio. I'm launching an emergency response fund to help Sherrod fight back, so please chip in if you can.

Here's the what we know:

The group is called One Nation, and they're affiliated with GOP Senate leadership. The thing is, they raise and spend unlimited, often anonymous funds. That means any number of wealthy individual donors, special interest groups, or large corporations could be buying political power by trying to flood this race with outside cash.

This is exactly the rigged system that Sherrod is working to dismantle. He and I have discussed running his campaign the right way – where we count on hundreds of thousands of regular people chipping in – and not like our opponent, who relies on an Epstein co-conspirator, dark money super PACs, and special interest groups cutting massive checks.

Sherrod is bearing the brunt of Republican spending because Ohio is the domino that will give Democrats the Senate.

And since Jon Husted is uniquely vulnerable for defeat, the GOP establishment is coming to his rescue. With One Nation's $28 million, Republican groups have now committed to spend $131 million in Ohio, and trust me, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
