Dropping in with some not so great news to start the year, team.
As the clock struck midnight on our final end-of-quarter deadline of 2025, we ended the year just 3.18% – $1,590 – short of our $50,000 goal last night.
And with today marking the official start of the 2026 midterm election cycle, this setback couldn't have come at a worse time.
Once our data goes live, my Republican colleagues (and their multibillionaire megadonors) will see it as a sign that we don't have the resources to stop them from enacting even more of Trump's chaotic and cruel priorities – much less end their Senate majority.
But my New Year's resolution is to prove them wrong. We can turn things around. In times as tough as this, I am determined to move forward with optimism and hope – and a big part of that is showing a groundswell of grassroots support to win back a Democratic Senate majority.
That's why I'm personally extending the deadline to 11:59 p.m. TONIGHT.
With such a small gap left, if everyone reading this gave just $5 now, we'd close it in no time. But realistically, I know not everyone will. So I'm counting on my most committed grassroots supporters –like you, friend – to come through while there's still time.
