Every race Katie's ever run has been 100% funded by grassroots donations, and this campaign for governor is no different. Katie Porter rejects contributions from corporations and their PACs, lobbyists, and executives at Big Oil, Big Pharma, and Big Banks.
Can you chip in $5 to power our grassroots movement?
In gubernatorial races each state has different contribution limits, and California has one of the highest limits in the country, with individuals (or even a corporation) able to donate almost $40,000 to a single candidate in both the primary and general election.
Here's what that means for us: we need even more donations from everyday folks to keep pace with candidates who take corporate money.
