When Congress is in session, Katie keeps me busy grilling corporate CEOs and Big Pharma lobbyists.
She just introduced a piece of landmark legislation to bring transparency and accountability to the President and Vice President's offices with financial and conflict of interest disclosures.
Although Katie's time in Congress will come to an end in January, she's working to support electing a new wave of leaders who will carry the torch, hold corporations accountable, and continue to fight to clean up Washington.
Katie started Truth to Power to support candidates who reject corporate PAC contributions. By supporting these candidates—whether in competitive primaries or in purple districts—we can change this norm and create a government that isn't beholden to corporate cash.
