If Texas changes their congressional maps to give Republicans an advantage, Democrats in California are ready to counteract them.

Instead of helping families, Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans have spent the year giving handouts to billionaires. Now that they've realized Americans are unhappy with their policies, Trump is pressuring Republican-led states, like Texas, to redistrict mid-decade in order to "give" them the House majority.
Trump knows Democrats can flip the House under the current maps. And he knows Democrats will use that power to call him out and investigate his corrupt and incompetent Administration. So now he's trying to cheat his way to holding the House.
This is a direct attack on our democracy, and Democrats can't—and won't—stand by while Trump and his enablers cheat to win elections.
California legislators are working on a ballot proposal that would ask our voters whether we should respond if the Texas GOP follows through with their plan to erase Democratic-held seats through redistricting.
The reason we're in this mess is because of Trump. He can stop this today by telling state Republican leaders to knock it off.
