Here are 3 quick things you should know about who I am and why I'm running to serve as California's next governor:
- One of my top priorities will be standing up to Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans. When Trump threatens Californians—whether it's by withholding disaster aid or attacking our communities—I'll always stand up to his bullying and fight back.
- Our state faces real challenges. From housing and health care costs that are out of control, to a rapidly changing climate—we need new ideas and leaders with the backbone to fight for what's right.
- I held the first Trump Administration accountable in Congress and got real results (sometimes with my whiteboard, sometimes without!). My questioning of Trump officials secured free COVID testing for every American in the earliest days of the pandemic, and I'm proud to have passed into law bills that hold Big Oil and Big Pharma accountable for ripping off taxpayers. I have the experience to get things done.
I didn't make the decision to run lightly, but Trump is too serious of a threat to be ignored. President Trump, his allies, and Republicans across the country will all be watching to see the strength of our movement. That's why I'm asking if you can chip in today to support our campaign.
With so much at stake, it's going to take every single one of us.
