This week marks 100 days since Donald Trump was sworn into his second term.

Before I talk a little bit more about how I've been thinking about Trump's first 100 days, will you chip in $10 before our April deadline to power my campaign for governor?

Here's just a sample of what we've seen so far:

Illegal deportations, including of U.S. citizen children, without due process
Chaotic tariff policy; making it harder to do business and raising prices for families
Threats to our health care to fund tax breaks for Trump's ultra-wealthy cronies
Attacks on federal workers and the role of government in lifesaving medical research, education, public health, and so much more

But, we've also seen everyday Americans coming together and raising their voices to stop Trump's most harmful policies.

I know that for many of us, it's felt a lot longer than 100 days.

And while I'm pissed off by Trump's actions hurting and destabilizing us, I'm also hopeful—because I see so many Americans getting off the sidelines and making clear that what he's doing is absolutely unacceptable.

This is our country, and we aren't going to let Trump and his extremist MAGA movement take it from us.

I'm running for governor to amplify the voices of California families and make life easier for them. If that means going toe to toe with the president or his allies, I have the backbone to do it.

Today is also the last day for us to hit our April fundraising goal. I've been so grateful for the outpouring of support we've received so far. I'm asking you one last time to donate $10 or whatever you can, so I can keep doing this work of standing up to Trump and standing up for what our families need.

An absolute betrayal of our seniors.

Social Security is a lifeline for over 70 million Americans.

So far, Donald Trump and Elon Musk have attempted to close Social Security offices, lay off staff and more.

Now, many Americans can't even get in touch with a Social Security representative to discuss their benefits.

Tomorrow is my governor campaign's second ever fundraising deadline, and a lot's on the line.

So I'm writing to you directly to ask if you'll donate $5 or whatever you can spare to help us reach our $75,000 email end-of-month fundraising goal?

Early fundraising has a lot of upsides. It can help us raise more money, by showing people that this is a campaign to take seriously. It can send a message to special interests that they should stay out of this race. And perhaps most importantly, it gives us the ability to better plan our resources and stretch our donations the furthest they can go.

I know that many political campaigns go overboard with their fundraising asks. I stay very mindful of this—and at the very least, I try to keep things fun and informational, so you can get a laugh and learn a thing or two.

But because I reject money from corporations, lobbyists, and executives at Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banks, the only way I can raise the resources I need to win and keep fighting for working people is through grassroots donations.
